Zach began sailing on Sunfish at Boy Scout Camp when he was . Next in his sailing career he moved up to sailing Jboats on Lakes. The next step in his career brought him into the One-design Laser and Sonar Classes. After watching the Movie Morning Light Zach found an interest in Offshore racing and aspires to be a trimmer on a Volvo Ocean Race boat. Zach is taking the first step towards being like Mark Towill and Charlie Enright as an Offshore Acorn.
