Yes - you get to plan parties but you also will take the helm of the marketing, positioning and messaging for the organization. This is a senior position for the correct candidate. A familiarity with database is a must but will train. Oakcliff uses NeonCRM.

SHORE MANAGER
Boat Captains and Fleet Managers
The Maxi Fleet Boat Captain will work with current fleet captain, Sean O'Halloran until he is whisked off to sail with American Magic. The fleet includes OC86 and the JV66 as well as the Ker 50 Temptation. This is a year round position sailing and working on the sexiest boats in Oakcliff's fleet. Some southern racing is involved over the winters!
Maxi Fleet Captain
All Boat Captains have a specialty from rigging to composites to electronics. Oakcliff is happy to help train any motivated individuals to develop into their speciality. This is a dynamic position and your fleet may be Farr 40s, Match 40s, Melges 24s or more.
This position has the most upward mobility of any.
Boat Captain and Staff Specialist
If you like small fast boats with lots of parts, are very organized and motivated to train hard this is the ideal job for you. Be a part of a dynamic team. Learn from expert guest coaches and pass on your love for this part of the sport. Sail NACRA 17s and 20s, Waszps, Skiffs and more.
High Performance Director
Part Time and JOb Sharing Opportunities
Run the fun supporter sails every Friday May 20 to Sept 16 from 1pm to Sunset
Sailing as well as basic racing skills required. Knowledge of rigging, basic maintenance and safe operations of Lasers, Sunfish, small power boats required. High Performance boats may be added to the program if skills are there.
Compensation: $15/hour and may be assigned to credit supporter membership or program tuition.
Friday Supporter Sail Concierge
Tuesdays & Thursdays: 3 to 6pm on the water. Fridays: 3pm to 4:30 in the gym and debriefing. Additional sessions late summer and fall
8 Weeks - Tuesday April 12 to Friday June 3
Total Hours including 2.5 hours of prep per week: 8 weeks – 10 hours per week a total of 80 hours of instruction
Required Safe Sport Trained and sailing as well as basic racing skills
Compensation: $15/hour and may be assigned to credit supporter membership or program tuition.
OBHS Sailing Coach Tues, Thurs, Fri
Fridays May 20 to Sept 16 4pm to 9(approx.)
Set up BBQ : Start fire, chill drinks, set out plates, silverware, snacks at our outdoor kitchen which is being built!
