12 Metre World Championships 2023

Oakcliff Sailing will campaign the historic 12 Metre Courageous for the 2023 World Championships in Newport, Rhode Island with a young and diverse team of sailors selected from the Acorn and Sapling training programs.

This is an opportunity to race against the best of the best on a legendary boat in the waters off of Newport RI.

While you may apply this program on its own, priority will be given to 2023 Saplings and Offshore Acorn I sailors first.

Scholarships are available to Saplings who show potential and desire to become significant leaders and contributors to the development of Sailing, and motivated Acorn trainees who would be unable to attend without financial aid. While there is no deadline for financial aid applications, scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis, so you are encouraged to apply as early as possible.
