Parker Ludwig-Larsen

Parker is an 18 year old sailor from New York City who learned to sail on a 1936 Alden Yawl out of the New York Athletic Club. She got involved with Oakcliff Sailing on Long Island through the Classics series. She did the Inshore/Match Racing Acorn in 2018 and returned this year to continue stepping up her game. She grew up in NYC and has been sailing for as long as she can remember.She sails for the love of getting to go out on the water. She enjoys sailing 420s in the summer and Laser in the winter at the International Sailing Academy in Mexico.

Parker is both a Danish and American citizen and is very passionate about exploring the world. She has interned for 2 summers at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital in Ghana in the delivery ward and neonatal intensive care unit. In September 2019, she will be attending Connecticut College to race on the sailing team and follow her dreams of becoming a doctor.
