Lynn Benali

Lynn is 15 years old and is heading into her sophomore year of high school at Manchester-Essex Regional High School. She resides in Manchester-by-the sea, Massachusetts with her parents and older sister. Lynn began her sailing career at the age of seven, through a variety of boat such as Optimists, Hobie Cats, and eventually 420s. Currently, Lynn is sailing with her varsity sailing team and during the fall, she attends Pleon Yacht Club, sailing mainly dinghies. In the future, Lynn hopes to expand her horizons by becoming an offshore sailor.

Lynn is bilingual in English and French and is in the process of learning Spanish. She has a dual citizenship from Algeria and the United States. In her free time she teaches adaptive sailors on Sonars in Boston.
