Liz is from Madison, Connecticut. She started sailing when she was 8 with lessons at the Yale Corinthian Yacht Club in Optis and 420’s. Over the course of a few years she progressed to the race team. In High School, she continued her racing career on the Hotchkiss School team in 420’s and FJ’s, competing in many large regattas such as NESSA Women’s Championships for the past two years.
Liz is currently training for a career in college sailing and, moving forward, she would like to gain experience in a variety of different boats. When she’s not on the water, Liz loves to write and later this summer she will be participating in the Yale Summer Journalism Program.
