Kyle Collins, born and raised in Southern California, began racing Optis at the age of 8. With a desire to go faster, he started racing bigger boats soon after. Currently Kyle can be found racing CFJs as a senior in high school, ripping around his 29er or an I14. He loves hopping on any boat he can but frequently races Farr 40s and a J/111. Kyle loves offshore sailing. In his free time, he enjoys surfing, skating, skiing, and kiteboarding.
Oakcliff is a high-performance training center for sailors who have progressed beyond traditional coaching methods. We are a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization. In 2013, Oakcliff Sailing was named a US Sailing Team Sperry Top-Sider National Training Center.
