Harry Prager

2017 Offshore Acorn

Harry Prager started sailing JY 15’s and Optis at his local sailing center. He sailed there for four summers before moving to Vermont where he wasn’t able to sail much, but he soon learned about the Volvo Ocean Race and now aspires to one day do the race himself. In search of better coaching, he started spending his winter breaks sailing in Coconut Grove, FL. After sailing in races like the Orange Bowl Regatta in Miami, he learned how competitive the opti class is. He later joined LIMA and is planning to go to 2018 team trials. He also started Wednesday night racing at Breakwater Yacht Club in a J/100 and J/70. When he grows out of optis he would like to sail lasers. He aspires to do races like the Volvo or America’s cup. When Harry isn’t sailing he loves building things, programming, and mess with cool technology.
