Art Santry

Art Santry

Art Santry has been one of our key sailors and supporters.  As a sailor, he has followed his father, who was NYYC Commodore, into serious big boat ocean racing.  Art has campaigned Temptation successfully, typically with Oakcliff Acorns and Saplings as crew, and among others raced Oakcliff’s Simon Says, an Andrews 68, in the SORC Miami-Havana race.  He has also been one of our key donors, both with respect to equipping and managing boats and with unrestricted support.  Art is currently Executive Managing Director of Cushman & Wakefield, one of the largest real estate firms in the U.S.  He was previously a senior executive at real estate firms CB Richard Ellis and Trammel Crow.  Art graduated from Hobart and William Smith Colleges and received an MBA from the Tuck School at Dartmouth in 1985.
