Anne K. Scully, Esq

Anne has nearly 30 year’s experience as an attorney and trade association executive, with a focus in the financial services industry. She began her career within the legislative/regulatory arenas in Washington, DC, where she served as legislative counsel in the US House and Senate and several Federal regulatory agencies, as well as a national trade association and a multi-national corporation.

She has served as CEO of two state associations and senior executive officer for two regional associations (banking; insurance). In those capacities, she has been involved in the soup-to-nuts of association executive management, with a special focus on governance, compliance and other legal matters, fundraising, vendor management, business development, PR and marketing. She has recently founded Storm Trysail Consulting, which provides legal, organizational development, Board governance and other services to small nonprofit organizations. Anne received her BA from the University of Virginia and her JD from the George Mason University School of Law.

Anne has been involved in sailboat racing and race management for 30 years. She and her husband–a rabid sailboat racer–currently live in Mill Valley, CA, with their German Shepherd and Golden Retriever dogs. She is a Race Officer and a member of the San Francisco and Corinthian Yacht Clubs in Tiburon, CA.
