Andrew Person

Andrew Person started sailing at the age of 7 in the Naples Sabots in Newport Beach, CA. He progressed through the sabot fleet and moved on to begin sailing FJs, Lasers, and 420s. Andrew realized his passion for double-handed boats and set his sights on the popular high performance class, the 29er. Andrew is currently making the transition from 29ers to 49ers, and he saw Oakcliff as a great opportunity to learn to sail the 49er and improve his high performance sailing.
