The team has posted some great offshore training photos. This week in the yard we are adding a couple ocean aspects to the boat and waterproofing a few areas that started getting damp in 20+ knots.
A handful of team members are competing in Block Island Race week, so far there hasn’t been much wind but Block Island is beautiful and they are excited to be there. The people at the yard are checking online results, and happy to spend a sunny week in Newport.
This is a busy week for the All American Offshore Team:
We are spending Thursday night at Cappy’s Hillside Cafe (2071 Plainfield Pike, Johnston, RI 02919-5724).
Westy and Mary are bartending and all tips go to the team. It is going to be a casual fun night, and we hope to see you there after work.
Saturday the All American Offshore Team is throwing a party! This Saturday, June 25th at the Herreshoff Marine Museum It would be wonderful to see you there, we can’t wait to dance to live music and hear sailing stories from Newport residents, Jerry Kirby, and other experienced ocean racers.
