Kaity Storck & Molly Robinson aboard Genuine Risk

All American Offshore Team members Kaity Storck and Molly Robinson joined the 90 ft, canting keel, Dubois designed, Genuine Risk, for the delivery from Antigua to Baltimore after finishing the Caribbean Circuit this spring.  “GR” as its known, had a successful season, winning its Class in the Montego Bay Race, and having a strong showing at the Voiles de St. Barth and Antigua Sailing Week.

Update from onboard the delivery:
May 5, 2011 Atlantic Ocean

Kaity and I arrived at the boat in Falsmouth, Antigua on Monday, May 2. After a few days of preperation we headed out to sea on Wednesday under a full main and blast reacher.  So far we have had light winds (5 -14 knots) but are hopeful that it will pick up. The weather is beautiful, we are fully stocked with sunscreen, and the guys have been showing us around the boat.

Driving a canting keel is a new experience for both of us, so we are taking notes and taking lots of pictures that we are excited to share with you when we get back to shore.
