Twenty-three teams from the United States, Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and Canada have traveled to Oyster Bay to compete in the high level event. Oakcliff also has several High Performance Acorn Graduates competing in the regatta including Sophia Schultz, Joseph Bello, Dave Hein, Harry Schmidt, Andrew Pearson, and Michael Sabourin. These Acorns participated in the High Performance Camp to improve their sailing skills on Nacra 17s, 49ers, and 49er FXs. During this regatta, the Acorns will have the chance to compete against Olympic hopefuls and join them in the quest for Olympic gold.
