Lindsey Winter grew up in Northport, NY, a small sailing town on Long Island. From a young age she sailed with her family on their C&C 30 and learned about racing keel boats and sailing offshore. She joined the Northport Yacht Club Junior Sailing Program when she was eight and sailed Optis for 5 years and a Force-5 for two years while continuing to race keel boats. Conrad “Cort” Vandlik
Cort Vandlik (Tonka Bay, Minnesota) discovered his passion for sailing along the shores of Lake Minnetonka and competitive racing at age 11 on his Laser. Cort now competes nationally year round on the national Laser circuit and winter circuit events. Cort also is a match racing enthusiast and just completed skippering his third Rose Cup. Sam Tobio
Sam is 18 years old and hails from Sarasota, Fl. His sailing background includes racing high-performance catamarans, sportboat and keelboats. More recently he has been competing in ORC, PHRF, and One-Design Grand Prix Circuits like the C&C 30, Fareast 28r, and J120 classes. In the fall Sam will be attending the College of Charleston, competing on their Keelboat Team and majoring in Business. Josh Temko
Josh Temko is 17 and from Clearwater Florida. He has been sailing the Laser full rig and c420 for the past five years out of the Clearwater Community Sailing Center, and came to Oakcliff to learn more about the high performance boats, specifically 49ers. In two years, Josh will be sailing in college, and hopes to start an Olympic campaign in the 470 class.
