Sail the Sound for Deafness

On Thursday August 9, 2012, the Mill Neck Family of Organizations will host a Charitable Sailing Regatta in Oyster Bay, NY called “Sail the Sound for Deafness.” Oakcliff Sailing, The WaterFront Center, Oyster Bay Marine Center, the North Oyster Bay Baymen’s Association and various other organizations will co-host the event. The Regatta will raise funds to benefit the Mill Neck Family of Organizations, a group of organizations serving people who are Deaf and/or have other special communication needs, locally, nationally and around the world. Programs include Deaf education, early childhood education for children with speech and language delays, services for Deaf adults, audiology and sign language interpreter services.
